Gregory Ferenchak, MD
Dr. Gregory Ferenchak is a family medicine physician. He provides preventive care and treats illness or injuries for his patients, from newborn to geriatric care. He enjoys caring for several members of the same family to better understand family dynamics and more appropriately address concerns. He strives to be upfront, open, and honest with his patients. He also has a clinical interest in addiction medicine.
Dr. Ferenchak earned a medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He graduated from Forbes Family Medicine Residency in 2021 as a chief resident and remains with the program as a Faculty Member, aiding in the training of both residents and medical students. In addition to his faculty responsibilities at Forbes Family Medicine, he sees patients both in the hospital and clinic settings. Prior to residency, he attended Northeast Ohio Medical University for medical school and The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies. Throughout his time as a resident, he developed wide ranging interests including skin procedures, sports medicine, addiction treatment, pediatric/newborn care, preventive medicine, and advocacy/leadership development.
He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Outside of medicine, his interests include traveling, cooking, trying new foods/restaurants, sports, and spending time with his family.
