Dr. Rood provides care and treatment for individuals of all ages who are experiencing psychological disorders. Skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, play, art, and other treatment interventions, he works with children, adolescents, adults, and families to promote age-appropriate and developmentally consistent treatment outcomes.
Dr. Rood earned his doctoral degree in counseling psychology at Chatham University in Pittsburgh. He gained additional experience with providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services during his post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology in Allegheny General Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society of Counseling Psychology, and Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
