Maria Druchniak is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) and advanced practice provider affiliated with the AGH McGinnis Cardiovascular Institute. She specializes in general cardiology and cardiovascular disease with a focus on coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, congestive heart failure, preventative cardiology, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Economics at Allegheny College, Maria earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
Maria is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants (PSPA), Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology (APAC), and the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She is also a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and affiliated with AHA’s Council on Clinical Cardiology and Council on Hypertension. Maria is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
